How many times has Derek Jeter made the 3rd out? It seems to me he can't be depended upon to get a hit when the Yanks are behind and there are men on base.
He did it twice last night against Boston.

It's called research. Try and do some before inserting your foot in your mouth. Jeter leads the lead in with men in scoring position. Just because he has a bad night doesn't mean he's not coming through. You want to talk about the "Invisible Man", where has A-Rod been during the month of May?

As much as I detest Jeter, I'd have to say that he's one hell of a player. I truly feel that he's probably the only one that the Yankees can truly depend on this year, despite last night's performance.

Remember, baseball is the only game you can fail seven times out of ten and still be, not just a success, but considered one of the best!

Even though the 2-out, runners-in-scoring-position hit is crucial, remember that PREVENTING it is crucial to the other team. So as much as you want that hit, the other players will be playing harder than usual to prevent it.

Yes, it seems like he has made the 3rd out a lot of times, and he has. But you have to look at all the times he has come through. He has come through in so many situations. Have to focus on the good and the bad. I still support him and the rest of the yankees. They are my team and always will be.

i didnt see the game but he should know to choke up on the bat, shorten his swing and try to get on for the big boys.or maybe whoever was pitchin fooled him.either way he has done plenty for the yanks over the years, even the great ones have bad days.
