Crow: obviously, that's why you don't do surveys.
Crabby: has any US muslim scholar or cleric published a point-by-point refutation of obl or al-queerda's philosophy, which EXPLICITLY is based in islam? Point-by-point? No? THAT's why 25% feel the way they do - there is no countervailing MUSLIM teaching against it (besides the PR platitudes and spin).

And I think we should take those 25% to the Nevada desert--strap each one with explosives and let them suicide bomb each other. That way everyone is happy. They get blown up like they want--they'll get their 72 demons....uhm virgins, and no innocent lives are lost.

I believe those 25% should be hunted down and allowed to die for their beliefs. Technically its not martyrdom they don't kill themselves!! lol Its all just insane.
Granted I don't believe every Muslim living in the US or abroad has terroristic intentions. But if you are raised in that type of environment where that has been ingrained into your sense of self, then I'm sure you would find it acceptable.
I think ALL immigrants coming into our country should be undergoing strict scrutiny. All illegals coming in should be sent back at their expense. Those who cannot abide by the rules are criminals and thats what prisons are for.

I think every poll of the American public has about a 30% margin of factual error, because a good 30% of the public never reads a newspaper, keeps up remotely with current events, or thinks whatsoever. How many people who argue about the war in Iraq can even find it on a map?

Ever since 9/11 the millions of law-abiding and peaceful American citizens who happen to be Muslim have been subjected to a campaign of hate, bigotry, harassment and discrimination on the part of the right-wing.
