The question was for Pakistani Citizens only. I am talking about the Computerized National Identity Card which is being issued by Government of Pakistan to all its nationals through NADRA (NAtional Database & Registeration Authority). My CNIC No. is 38303-3183030-1. First five digits represent the Tehsil (Generally there are three or four Tehsil's in a District), so its the Tehsil Code. Next seven digits are the registeration number of the citizen. The last digit after the second hyphen (-) varies from 1-9. This is the confusion. What does this last digit represent?

Thanks for your answers dudes, but the question was originally for Pakistanies only!
