Will our national author start writing another children's book and will it also be about wizards and magic? If Rowling writes a book for grown up will it be equally as good?

I really hope that she will write again and I personally would like the book to be about the paranormal - like the X-files. What would you like Rowling to write about?

Write another book. Although there's a possibility that she'll stick to the Harry Potter formula, I'll bet she does think up other ideas and at times feels that working on the series can be a bit of a drag. So maybe she'll want to go in a completely different direction.

I think her characters are her biggest strength, and hopefully a new book would continue that. Making books for younger children is also a good idea, as a lot of 8-year-old kids who don't normally read that much try to struggle through a 600-page dark fantasy that is essentially young adult fiction. Since the Rowling brand name is an inducement for unenthusiastic readers to give a book a try, it'd be good if said book was something they could read, understand, finish and relate too.

What would I like to see? I think a historical setting could be good - maybe a gang of childs theives in Victorian London? Or the story of the Children's Crusade?

It has been confirmed that Jo Rowling will be writing an encyclopedia of the Harry Potter universe for charity. This will be the 3rd book she has written about the Harry Potter books that is not part of the series, with proceeds going to charity.

In terms of other novels, JK Rowling told Time Magazine:
"I think I can say categorically that I will not write another fantasy after Harry,"

Happy Birthday Harry! And JK Rowling! BQ: Harry Potter, the character? Or Harry Potter the books? Either way, they're both amazing. :)

JK Rowling is the proverbial 800 pound gorilla and can do what she pleases. You saw her public side. I'd expect her
to now show you the private side. If she writes at all it won't
be fiction but rather additional instructions to those who will
keep the distance between her and readers like yours truly.
If she has a last thing to say it will be, in English, 'Get a life.'

I don't know what she does, but if she kills off harry potter I'm going to write her once a month for the rest of both of our lives. LOL

Hopefully she's gonig to continue to create other worlds. She is an amazing and gifted author, and has a wonderful way with detail.

That's a question I've asked myself, too ;-)

When I was her I would wait some time to write and then write something completly different that can't be compared to "Harry Potter". Maybe a historical novel for children or something really funny. I'm quite interested in her plan for future ;-)

@SamuelM: Please help me: In which book exactly is something satanic? You know, I've read them several times, but I just can't remember the sentence "Praise Satan, let's kill that cat over there!" So, you know, I just have problems to understand that writing about a bow who is able to make fire without using matches is really satanic...

Rowling can write about Fantasy again. It suits her style best.
She is best in writing books for teens, though elders read her book.I would like her to write about witches and wizards, but she might have run out of ideas with this series.
So, it will be better if she writes about ordinary people going to a magical land and discovering great secrets would be good.
