I pay $3.59 for 91 octane. 87 is $3.29.
I have a 37 gallon tank.
IF I ever run dry, that's only $11 difference.
I only run to half a tank, so that's only $5.50 per fill up.
Besides when a fill up from half a tank costs $70, and extra $6 doesn't make a difference.
I prefer the extra one or two MPG and the extra snap in the accelerator with the 91 octane.

We own a small gas station in union Mississippi. The price of 87 octane is 3.179. Really if you think about it we are just now paying what it is worth. Look at how much we pay for milk and water a gallon. We are just not use to the change, but they know we have to have it so they can jack the prices on it way up. Hope full they will come back down on the price, but its summer now and theres no telling what they will do.

Lucky you. We are paying $3.52 per gal for 87 fuel. Prices seem to be fixed because there are no differences regardless of the station. Additionally, the prices are literally going up in an hour. We crossed a bridge to get groceries and gas was $3.07 per gallon. About an hour later when we crossed back the gas was $3.18 per gallon. That was one month ago. Last week the gas went from $3.37 to $3.529 per gallon. We're in Illinois suburbs. We've seen gas at $3.59 per gallon. $3.599 There is always that 9/10 of a cent that people seem to ignore.
