y=-3x+9
the standard form is y=mx+c
where m, the coefficient of x, is the gradient and c is the y intersect.
we know the gradient is -3 so we know y=-3x+c
if we put in the co-ordinates we get
-3=-12+c
rearranging gives 9=c
so we put in c to get
y=-3x+9
