I believe in equality! i think that people whom discriminate or say discriminating things about bisexual people should be looked down upon. If you dont like something..too bad! but it doesnt give you the right to put others down because of it.

Discrimination shouldn't be tolerated by any group. Everyone is suppose to be equal in this day and age. So it should be that way! I have no problem with bisexual people. It's not who I am, but if that's your way of life, I'm happy for you. Same with straight people, it's your life, you do what you do.

Sucka what are you talking about? I don't bash Christianity or anything, you can have your religious beliefs. But I always find that Christians bash homosexuality, because it's wrong according to the Bible. If you need examples read the answers to questions, the homosexuals answer the question, the bible thumpers criticize and say "you should pray, repent and be straight"

Boz how is being ourselves morally wrong? Reading your answer you are blaming GBLT for what's wrong with teens today? We don't influence anyone to be gay, we tell people to be themselves. We get along with straight, bisexual, homosexual, etc people. We don't tell people "don't be straight" people like you come in here and tell us we are wrong and that we are what's wrong with society. I like that you said we should just keep quiet about everything. Why do we have to see all these straight couples on tv, in movies, everywhere making out, having sex, etc... If we are going to censor as to not offend anyone, we have to be fair.

are straight people supposed to feel sorry for homo and bisexual people? NO.

The stop milking it... I am gay, I am lesbian. So what, who cares. Why publicize it.

The more homo and bisexual people rant and rave about discrimination the more people get fed up with it. Yes, I used to support equality for homo and bisexual people and now I just find it as annoying as the buzzing sound of a mosquito.

I don't put others down. I think that you do it yourself by craving the media spotlight and by trying to get the sympathy vote.

So if i don't like something then I accept it, but why should I accept it when it is always in my face?

People have rights and I feel that it is my right to discriminate against whoever I want.

NO. It should stop, as should all discrimination. It's freakin 2007! People need to realize that not everyone is the same!

And people should stop assuming that being bi/pansexual = being greedy. I'm openly bisexual but I've gotten a few people who try to tell me that "bisexuals don't exist because they're either gay or straight and just don't want to commit to one gender", or that "bisexuals are just confused". Gah, we are 100% REAL!!

Edit: And we aren't whores. We just don't care as much about whether our lover is a man or a woman (or FTM, or MTF, or etc, etc.)! :)

Discrimination is wrong. People who shout about being discriminated against aren't ranting and raving - they are fighting for their rights. Being LBGT isn't morally wrong as you can't say that morals apply when people consent to same-sex.
Christians like to discriminate against others but they are quick to get annoyed when they experience what they give out, that's just being hypocritical bigots

What I don't get is why bisexuality is such a hot issue in the queer community. As someone who identifies as pansexual (I like who I like, regardless of their sex, gender or genitals), I don't see why we're seen as such "slu+s" who "sleep around" and are "unfaithful" (all quotes I have seen from this community). I am with the person I am with, and am not more likely to leave a lesbian I am with for a man or FTM than I am to leave her for another lesbian. I am with *her* not the other people. And vice versa; if I am with a man, I am not any more likely to leave him for some hot woman than I would be to leave him for another man. Just because we have a slightly larger pool of people to choose from (which I feel is actually smaller, because of the lesbians that discriminate against non-lesbians, and the straight men that just want women who will make out with other women for their benefit, and are "turned off" by women that have actually been in relationship with other real queer women) does NOT mean we are any more likely to cheat, sleep around, etc. Just as most lesbians are not rat-tail wearing, beer drinking, softball players, most bisexual and pansexuals are not just looking to get laid as much as possible; we just have more open attraction.

no discrimination should be accepted, it's all immoral.

as to the "christians" above :

Love they neighbour
Treat Others as you wish to be treated
Remove the beam from your eye before the speck from your neighbours
Do Not Judge lest you be judged.

do you pick and choose which parts of christianity that you follow based on whether you like them or not?

i have no problem with christianity, some of my best friends are christians, REAL christians, tolerant, forgiving and loving, as god taught (god doesn't preach hate).

the discrimination against bisexual is the same as the discrimination against homosexuals, the same as discrimination against people of other creeds, the same as discrimination against women, it's all wrong and society should be moving past it.

I'm bisexual and I wish we didn't face discrimination but I try not to look down on anyone for it. In my real life, I've only encountered that kind of discrimination a couple times. Most people judge me by how I live the more public parts of my life. If a person isn't comfortable with my sexual orientation, I don't make an issue of it. I don't announce to everyone on the street that I'm bi either. I'm not closeted; I'm open about the gender of anyone I'm partnered with but when I'm not with anyone, I only tell people if they're trying to fix me up.

i think of this in all fairness ironic, pondering maximum atheist diatribes are directed in the direction of Christians in a much less tolerant way than they are to the different ideals on the subject of deities. Dawkins is a sturdy occasion of this. there are various examples in this very website of folk addressing Christians with complaint, quite than Theists as an entire. for my area i think of Christians might lay off atheists if ignorant atheists did no longer purely use Christianity because of the fact the main occasion of the failings of believing in a God

unfortunately discrimination will continue and it's pretty damn sad. Gays/Lesbians/Bi's etc are human beings also, why treat them like they are a piece of garbage? They deserve the same respect as any straight person - they should have the same rights as any straight person.

All the ones who are saying what they're doing is "wrong" - wake up at realize we're in 2007 - gays/lesbians are not going away... so stop being close-minded and ignorant. Weren't you ever taught to be nice to ppl and accept them for who they are and not what they are? why do you care so much about their sexual preference? let them be. they aren't bothering you, so why bother them?

All discrimination should be looked down upon. These people are just jealous that you can be with anyone you want, man or woman
