His dad is all about being a good Christian and is obsessed with God. Then he goes and hits his kids. I don't get it. He is so mean and even when I'm around he yells and screams and he's even hit my boyfriend right in front of me. He has scars on his body that he used to tell me were from him falling, and now I find out it's because of his dad. I feel like kicking this guys butt because of what he's doing. My boyfriend and his brother are always afraid when their dad comes home and I'm even afraid when this guy comes home now. The only person that knows is me and the kids are brainwashed into thinking that what their dads doing is alright. what should i do or say to help? Sorry for the terrible grammar and I wasn't sure what section this shousld go in.

tell your parents or a guidance counselor at school.
if you're older than high school, go to the police.
you need to go to the authorities to stop it now.
since he has scars, the police will obviously have evidence, even if the boys don't admit it...and that is the usual story: the kids are too scared to admit what is going on and so the police will know how to handle it.

If your boyfriend and his brother are brainwashed into thinking what their dad is doing is right, than they will treat their own childrent the EXACT same way. They have been made to believe they are bad and deserve to be punished. They have never known anything different. (OH, where is the mother in all of this??) And their father is beating them through his interpretation of being a good Christian?
REPORT THE SITUATION!!!!! Call the police, DCFS, tell your parents, a school counsellor, your pastor or priest, any close adult you feel will take action on your behalf if you cannot do this yourself. Your boyfriend may not appreciate the intervention at this point, but hopefully in time, with counselling and support, will come to appreciate what you have done. And hopefully his dad will also get the help he needs to be an effective and non-abusive parent.
You have made the first step by reaching out asking for help in making a decision. There are many answers out here to read and think about, but your instincts will tell you what to do. He needs help and cannot ask for it himself. Be his advocate.

Next time you see him abusing his children, excuse yourself and go call the police. Abuse of any sort, physical or verbal is never right. Physical abuse, with marks and the scars to prove it will definitely send this asshole to jail. If you cant do that...tell your school counselor, your parents, any responsible adult.... go to the police yourself and write a report of what you've seen. It wouldn't take much for this insecure loser to turn on you one day and abuse you just cuz you are there and look at him the wrong way!! Do you want to be next?

His father is a fanatic to the point where he takes spare the rod and spoil the child literally. The bible says to discipline your child but not to beat them. His father sounds like he has a problem and someone needs to get help before there is something more drastic done.

you don't say how old you or they are. If still minors you can make an anonymous call to DFAS or the local police & they will investigate. However you need to consider that neither boy will confirm the story and that leaves it out on a limb. Its a hard decision to make so you might want to talk to other adults & see what they think.

well it seems like your boyfirends father came from that kind of family. and it sounds like he needs help and counseling. i would talk to your boyfriend about it before someone gets really hurt on accident

You should report him if he is beating his children,because if he doesn't stop then your boyfriend could end up being abusive to you or his children later on.
