shes is a FOLLOWER! she wants to be just like you! think of yourself like a celebrity that everyone wants to copy. if i was you, i would be happy that you were the first in everything and know in your heart she is just doing the same things as you to get attention for herself, that she would not be getting otherwise. sad sad sad. Move on and be happy and laugh everytime you hear she is doing another thing like you! :)

Sounds to me like she feels a little competition between the two of you which is jealousy. Some women feel that if someone close to them (being you and your bf) have a better life or happier they tend to follow in your footsteps to coverup or possibly try to make their life better and happier. Do they have relationship problems? She may see you and your bf as the "happy all american couple/family" and want the same.
Or she just admires you...you never know but either way i would actually take it as a compliment...you could sit down and talk with her and let her know this is bothering you but she's probably going to just deny doing anything of the sort. I wouldn't worry too much unless it just starts getting way out of hand and her copying your birth experience and getting pregnant when you do isn't too bad.

Wow... that's pretty crazy. I never really believed in coincidence.
That's not to say she's doing it on purpose, or out of jealousy. Maybe she just looks up to you that much? And seeing you going through these monuments in life... is maybe making her want to as well?
Maybe you're just on the same path?
Guess you'll find out when you tell everyone what you decided to name the baby. Family dynamics can be frightening. If your bf's parents are happy with you and the way you've gone about things, (i.e. no baby shower, naming, and the filming of the birth) perhaps she's just trying to follow suit so she doesn't step on any toes.

My cousin is like that with me.She has been like that all my life. I would do something then she would. I got my hair cut a few days later she had the same hair cut ect. I was married on May 28th of 2004 and she was married in Nov of 04. I found out I was pregnant in Nov of 04 and she told me she was pregnant in feb of 05.
I think it is jealousy She wants what you have and the only way to do that is to copy you. I don't talk to my cousin as often anymore and I don't tell her what is going on with my life. Try to ignore it or confront her about it or tell your bf about it.
There isn't much you can do about it I mean she will do it weather you talk to her or not.

It sounds like she cant make her own decisions, much like a follower. Shes taking this whole having a baby and being a parent as if it was buying new shoes that she saw you wear-like a trend. I wouldnt let it bother me, your doing things with your life and she obviously is fond of whatever your doing that she wants that for herself too. If it is jealousy, then she the one who looks bad. :)

It could be a brother thing too. Guys don't usu. talk about things like that, or they just do it. Who knows? What is the history of your bf and his brother? Have they always done things similar to each other?

My sister-in-law did this to me. It was so annoying. They were prego and didn't tell anyone. Well we found out we were and a week later she told everyone. And when she had her's first she gloated that she had the baby!? Then when my hubby and I got married, guess what? Yep, they got married. WTF. Could be coincidence. You just have to ignore people like this.

A wise man once said, "imitation is the highest form of flattery" - consider it as such, and feel good that she wants to imitate you.
