I've seen something somewhere about a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software that you can download for free. If you draw the sword in there, you can send the file to the company, and have it created for you out of the material of your choice... I'm not sure about costs and don't even remember the site at the moment, but if I find it, I'll let you know.

Go to sca.org. A local group may be able to put you in contact with a smith. Many of them are excellent craftsmen. My husband and I have a sword made by a member that is beautiful.
