what are the difference between mollies ,guppies and platys?how i can identify them? or differ them?

All three come in a huge variety of colors and even fin shapes so sometimes it can be difficult to see the difference in a platy and a molly at first. Guppies are the smallest and generally have a very large tail. Here's a picture of a group of male guppies.

the females are larger and less colorful, but have the same body shape.

Platys are only a little larger than guppies, but have much fuller bodies.
