And what if we find out the answer to how life begna in the universe? what if we found out that humans evolved out of stardust like many scientists believe. Whats your opinion about this? should we be looking for life outside of our planet, what will happen to our beliefs if we do?

Hello Sweet D.
There is life all through out the universe the angelic conflict is raging all around us.
They can keep looking until the cows come home and will find nothing apart from this.
God created everything and His time clock is running.
Jesus Christ said "you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free".
Our beliefs will not be swayed because God does not make mistakes and He is the same yesterday today and forever.
Take care!

If we do find life somewhere in the universe, would that
have an impact on religion. It could still be stated that
God created that other life as well as Earth's. If humans
evolved out of stardust then who created stardust, again
God could still be the creator of humans by having created
the stardust. Perhaps the most intriguing complication
would be presented if we found other life in the universe
which is more advanced than our life. What implications
would such a discovery have on the belief that humans
are created in God's image?

if we find life some where in the universe, we're probably going to experiment on the life forms.(cruel i know).

if we found out how life began, then people would know the truth...and change to whatever religion is correct(or make a new one)

if we found out that humans evolved out of star dust(carbon i think) then some religious peoples would deny it.

We probably should be looking for life outside the planet but not putting it at the top of the things to do list. Maybe tackle global warming and the poor countries in the world first.

nothing would happen if we just look for life, but if we find life, most beliefs would be disproven(except maybe Scientology)

Maybe humans would realize that their not so damn special after all. Perhaps we could finally see that we are just a small part of a bigger infinitely changing universe and get off our high horse. It would put a big chink in the armor of religion. No doubt religion would find a way to spin it to its advantage though. I would like to think it would promote world unity and peace, but then again I am a hopeless romantic. There will never be peace as long as there is greed and no life form here or there will change that. The quality of the life we find would directly effect the worlds consciousness. For example, if it's just bacteria on mars then there would be doubt that we left it there by accident in a previous mission and it adapted to it's environment. However, if we find intelligent life on or above a parallel of our own that clearly stand alone from us then the gambit of emotion will run from we are their seeds to their raising us like cattle. We will try to immediately deify or demonize them. That's human nature.

If I say that we have already found alien life forms in the universe, and the answer to the question, how life began, and what would happened to our beliefs after we knew the answers to these and many other things about life, the universe and ourselves, then you will be startled, and rightfully so. You will be curious and intrigued - a state of mind the peak of which is only suspension in disbelief. But I can prove to you that what I say is real, only too real to be accommodated within the folds of our meagre earthy knowledge.

In order to answer grandiose questions like these, you need to know more than you can with you knowledge, common sense or even intuition. You need to think with greatest unison of you mind, as if you were but the universe itself, and not a mere spectator sitting aloof and trying to have some fun out of the grandest spectacle of creation in front.

The fact is the life in general started upon this planet just the way my life began. We are all expressions of some divine truth and kindness in existence, the region where our dreams reside. Where goodness and with all its attributes is but a straight course through life, and evil on the other hand but an option always winding alongside the path of righteousness as distraction.

Are we born out of stardust? Now, this is really an elementary stuff, of course we are. Our physical form and composition is quite in line with the rest of the objects, all big and small, in cosmos. When a star burnt out of its lifespan it explodes and the dust is scattered far and wide only to fall upon the surfaces of the planets of any given galaxy.

Then if aliens are discovered somewhere in the universe what will happen? Nothing will happen that has not already happened. Thousands of years ago people use to live in caves. They had the same needs and issues based upon them as we have today. Then people lived in ancient times when there was no electricity, or gas or petroleum propelled progress in life. But people fought with each other, killed each other, and died for almost similar reasons as people do today. We are in fact an evolving species. We grew aliens to our past every few thousands of years. We are alien to ourselves, if not in space but in the endless expanses of time. Then what has happened in our progress? We are still having fears that the world will come to a catastrophic end one day. We are the same only dressed differently.

If however we do find real aliens, in space somewhere, then it might be possible for us to leap further some couple of hundred or a thousand years in time; that is if the aliens turn out to be more advanced and friendly to us. Even then I am sure they will be asking similar types of questions about the beginning of life in the universe the creation of the universe itself and the ultimate meaning to life in all its forms.

There is one thing however that might benefit us. After for example an encounter with aliens and developing active working relations with them a time will come when both side with have transferred all the knowledge and technology to each other – a saturation point. Then at that point we will find that aliens are but nuisance, and this feeling might also be mutual. And then the First World War with Alien would start. This will help us to greatest extents to come together as humans, to realise the eternal dream of peace among ourselves. Then once we have appointed aliens as our common enemies, we could be able to work together for a unified purpose in view. That to me would be a bliss, an era of perfect peacefulness among humans. I only hope and wish we will not get beaten up in all this.

Too great a distance, and so it's probable that other life forms in the universe would find us. Our primitive religions are apt to be the least of our concerns. Don't assume that our visitors would be friendly, and remember the horror and terror exacted upon North and South American "Indians" in the wake of European invasions: new diseases. The distance between our tiny rock and any planet even in our Gallaxy (one among the trillions) is so vast that the visitors ain't likely to be as everlasting stupid we humans are. Ouch.

If(while) we come across existence someplace else in the universe....we can probable attempt to sell something to it, purchase something from it, take income of it, or blow it up. i'm no longer confident we are waiting to affix any "galactic community." As for our distinctive perception structures, i think of they are going to proceed to act as they have; the two incorporating the hot discoveries into their structures or denying the existance of the hot discoveries. there replaced right into a time while the catholic church did no longer settle for the earth revolving around the sunlight. They got here visiting ultimately.

All things evolve, we will find life somewhere in the universe - our beliefs will evolve along with the findings - just like they should...

I don't know about all of the other religions, but Christianity will have to be rethought and rewritten.

I don't think it will ever happen during my time here on earth, but I'm smart enough to know that it is a real possibility.
