in yahoo, so I want to know do americians not have health plans? we have OHIP here in Canada so I can go to any clinic without paying??

and we have cheaper drugs too...lol yeah u think a country that can spend billions of dollars on it's military and send people into space, would be able to provide free public health care to it's people.

There is no national health care program other than medicare which is not available to everyone. Most people have to rely on some sort of plan from their employer to get coverage.
Michael Moore has a health care documentary coming out this summer called Sicko. It will provide some insight as to what it is like.

You're lucky. I'm paying out big bucks for my health plan (I'm not covered by my employer because I have a few part-time jobs), and still have to pay to go to the dr, hospital, etc.

Health Care is a joke here in the US....there are more than a million uninsured people in this country...sad..
