yes i do agree. player burnout is a major crisis that international cricket is facing. there is just too many odi's being played.

even the players agree. but money greedy administrators seem to be lending a deaf ear.

i just hope they dont kill the goose that lays the golden egg.

I agree with the writer...yes ther should be a proper gape between the matches and it should not be that frequent ..though it is good for the fans to watch the cricket throught out the year but it is a stress for the players on the other hand..just giving the example of Asif and shoiab ...Pakistan had South Africa tour before world cup and there was a very short gap.....Woolmer was unhappy with that series saying the same about the gape and the stress for players(what a man he was..Missing him from cricket world)..and the result was the same.. Shoiab played one match and got hamstring injury , he needed some more time to recover but one game made it worse and asif was not fit fully , yet he managed to play and carry that game all alone and as a result was not available for the world cup !so yes there there should be proper planing regarding all this schadual ! otherwise boards would follow the srilanka like strategy i.e giving rest to important players!

the writer has got his/her own point of view....iv got a different 1....odis are more watch, more competative and more interesting.......tests are matches that go on and on and u havta wait for 5 day for the result.....odis are short and nice and they r the ones which bring out the real cricketer...i mean odis decide wat the player is like.....is tht player fast(which is very important...look at the australians and all the other teams...they all are fast and aggressive), is capable of doin netin or not and the players cant depend on the next day to improve their performances like in odis......u just get one chance to prove if ur gud or not...thts it.....well..thts my point of view..

ps....odis are more colourful than tests....they r all white except for the ball which is red......(just a joke..hehe)
