im 3 months pregnant, was always told id most likely have probs as my periods are every 6 months and i have tilted uterus. me and my partner tried for 5 months and then had a rocky patch and split for 3 months. wen we got back together as we were seeing how things went we didnt 'try' as such just had sex every now and then but unprotected and it turns out that first night we slept together since we got back together was wen we conceived! its weird how the world works i mean we tried for 5 months with sex all the time and 'nothing' then wen we had sex normally was wen i finally concieved (we both feel fate was definatly invloved), we are both really happy with the result. i think you need to try and put it at back of your mind and just enjoy each other and then it will happen in due course, also i concieved exactly 2 weeks and 4 days after my last period (on the rare occasion i had one) and they do say you highest chance of concieving is from 2 weeks from the FIRST day of your period cos thats wen you release your egg. so maybe something else you can try.

My husband and I have tried for 1 year and 2 months now. And we just gave up. Because we thought we didnt have the mojo to get pregnant. Well on Mothers Day we found out we were pregnant. What a great gift!!!

hi i really think you need to try not to think about it to much i no its hard I'm 8.3weeks now and have had 3 miscarriages no full pregnancy's yet so i no what it like every month waiting to see if you came on, and so many times i said to myself that's it i will not try for a year or so and a few months later i was pregnant, try no to get stressed out or anything and i guess you already no when you are ovulating and all that kind of stuff relax and i hope for you it will come when you least expect it, take care of yourself xx

I stopped drinking coffee (and soft drinks which have caffeine) and so did my husband. My husband also took the pregnacare vitamin as this contains zinc which is good for their sperm, and includes various other vitamins (I had been taking this since sept last year anyway).
We didn't have intercourse until the ovulation day and luckily it happened! I have heard that it's good to 'save up sperm' for at least 4 days before you ovulate.
We'd been trying for a while too. Sending lots of luck over to you!

I know that you are obviously desperate to get pregnant but there is no miracle potion that we can give you the recipe for.
Sorry but i dont know what to say, if you are worried that there might be a reason for you not getting pregnant then consult your doctor unny. Good luck and i hope we hear some good news from you soon x

Hi, i fell pregnant in March.I had only just stopped the pill so it happened really quickly for us but we did stick to having sex every other night to make sure there was a good supply of sperm waiting for the egg.Just make sure you keep it fun and that it doesnt become habit.Good luck and im sure it will happen for you really soon x

I've just found out that i am pregnant. We used ovulation test strips we bought of off ebay!. I tested just after my period up till i got a postive result. Its all down to timing!. Also try not to worry, just relax if you worry then you can stop yourself from getting pregnant.

if its under a year that is still the normal... it may not be easy (we tried for 1 1/2 years and it finally happened) but anything over a year you can go see a doctor... it may be nothing to something major...
