You are born with a sexual orientation, just like you are born with an eye color. Trying to fight who you are will just lead to frustration and the kind of despair you are now experiencing. There is nothing shameful about having been born bi-sexual. Accept yourself, and others will accept you as well.

There is a section in answers for Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered issues. Go to Society & Culture > Cultures & Groups > Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered . Please post there, and you will find that you are not alone! You can get help with your feelings from people who have gone through what you are experiencing and found positive solutions. (Unfortunately you will also find bigoted trolls there, but try to search out the positive messages and ignore the prejudiced rants. These are the same sorts of nasty people who write about how much they love meat and post it in the Vegetarian section.) In Men's Health you will mostly find teen boys who are worried because their penis is smaller than a porn star's, so this is not the area for real help with your problem.

You are going to be all right, but you need the support of others like yourself who are dealing with the same challenges. Good luck!

You should feel so privileged in that you are one of the few honest people. I can't accept that anyone is totally gay or totally straight, but you're right - being bi makes you not completely part of either the gay or hetero world. So? You're your own man. That's great. What you need to do is stop thinking of your orientation as such an important thing. "Who am I", not "What am I" is the question to ask yourself. When you start to form answers to that, you will know which friends to pursue, which career suits you and all of that. Your family love you for WHO you are, as long as you do too. Lots of love your way.
