My cell phone shows that it is connected on the EDGE network to Rogers Wireless. When I try to call my own phone number to check voice mail, it fails every time. The phone is automatically putting the +1 in front of my area code. What am I doing wrong?

I tried entering a 1 in front of the number. Maybe there's a 1-800 number I could call?

Try dialing the complete number with 1 at the beginning. That will usually allow you to check the voice mail. you will be roaming. Just thingk it over.

Name yourself. You should have a code number. I think it is four digits. When the decision is forwarded to your voicemail, enter the code and it will direct you to your voicemail menu. Or simply call customer service. 1800-Cingular...Excellent good fortune!
