of course they have a shot. and to the yankee dude that said they werent good last year. it was basically the same lineup that won 205 games over two years, making it to the world series once and the nlcs the following year. they are older now, obviously, but at least they arent vastly over paid like the yanks. go cards

TLR is a master of the 162 game schedule,42 games in is not time to panic. This Cardinal team has been the best team in baseball the last 7 years, believe me when I tell you Carp, and Mulder will give this team a big,big lift when they are finally healthy. There are gonna be some teams paying the price when this team starts hitting on all cylinders

To be honest I'm not sure the worst scoring team in baseball can come back. As of today they have scored less runs than the Washington Nationals so it's not just their pitching that's the problem.

If they play my Buccos enough times they can. Playing the Pirates has the same effect on a team's record that steroids have on Barry Bonds' home run total.

No. They're not that good. They weren't that good last year either. They just got hot at the right time. Any team that goes 83-78 is NOT a world champion caliber team.

Sure they *could* almost 3 quarters of the season to go -- they need Carpenter back on track soon though
