There are tons of awesome stuff i'm sure all teens love! (music, makeup, dating) but what do u think is best about it?

i think it has to b da whole phase v go thru...da time spent being a teen ...lyk wid ur frnds, at home , wid guys,dating, etc...is da best time eva!!!!
....ur neva gonna get it back!!
its da most carefree time of ur life..cz ur parents r der 2 take care of u!!
....& while ur at it..js njoi lif to da fullest!!

I agree with Jab about the sex. I was, well, I had been around the block before my husband and I met. We developed a celebate realtionship as we dated, basing it on our faith. What I have with him now, after almost six years of marriage, is much better than those "relationships" I had in my late teens/very early 20s; Partially becasue I wasn't a full adult and didn't know what I was doing, even though I thought I did.
The best part about being a teen was the moment when I realized that my teen years/high school finally ended. My high school life was not the "Saved by the Bell", "Beverly Hills 90210" experience. (Yes, I'm dating myself. I will celebrate my 30th birthday on June 4.) It was quite the opposite. Yet, if God had answered my prayers and killed me after graduation, I would not be as happy as I am now. I'm happily, elatedly married (we will celebrate our sixth anniversary in June), we're "rich", not in the culture's definition, but we're well fed and clothed and more stuff than what we need/want, my husband is employed, we not only are in a house, but it is being paid for (along with utilities) by the church for which my husband is interning, my husband has only one more year of seminary left (he's persuing his master's of divinity degree), and we're expecting our first child in September.
Didn't have this kind of happiness in high school, or even ten years ago.

Living a carefree existence. You may not feel this way now, but when you are pushing forty you start to long for those days! And no, sex is not the best thing about being a teen. That comes with a loving and lasting relationship with someone who you really trust. The best sex is developed over time. Teen sex is pretty shallow. Trust me...

Being at the short-lived point in life when you have only a few responsibilities, but are old enough to do anything you want within reason and anything you want without permission, not caring if you stay out late at a party, because the water's not going to get shut off if you miss a day of work, get fired and can't pay the bills. FUN FUN FUN!! Good times...

Being young and carefree, not caring about anything - no major stresses like work or having to look after a family! Learing how to ride a bike, swim, skate-board and all the rest of it! But i think overall the best thing about being a teenager is messing about with FRIENDS!!!

Having heaps of friends and spending hours laughing with each other. Plus your body, after child birth, it all goes down hill.
