My goodness, did you open a can of worms. There are about a gazillion (that's a "1" followed by a whole mess of zeroes) places that I'd love to see someday....but here's the short list.
1. Machu Picchu--I once took a class in pre-Columbian history, and the Incas and Mayans have always fascinated me.
2. Naples--All of Italy, actually. But my mother's side of the family tree comes from Naples, and I'd like to try to track down members of the branch that stayed in Italy.
3. FIFA World Cup Finals--I got interested in soccer back in the day watching Pele, Franz Beckenbauer, and Georgio Chinaglia playing for the New York Cosmos at the dawn of the cable TV era. Then I spent many evenings at the Civic Arena (now Mellon Arena) in Pittsburgh watching the Spirit of the MISL. Seeing a World Cup Final in person would really be a kick....hahahahahahahaha (sorry. I couldn't pass that one up.)
4. Pitcairn Island--How cool would it be to meet the decendants of the Bounty mutineers?
5. Disney World--Truthfully, I've already been there ten times. But sometimes ya just gotta dive headfirst into some American-style commercialized tourism. Besides, the Tower of Terror and Splash Mountain are a blast.
So, there you are...my list place to see and things to do before I shuffle of this mortal coil and join the choir invisible.
Oh, I have to add one more....Florida, anytime in March, which can only mean one thing...SPRING TRAINING (yeah!!)

New York is one of the most exciting cities in the world. So go there if you want to. The only thing that matters when you travel is that you're open to the experience and want to see the things the places have to offer.

It,s got to be the Philippines for me and it will be for a whole 7 weeks in a couple of months,i,ve been to most countries in S.E Asia and none of them come close. There are hardly any tourists which is great especially them one,s which you meet in places like India and Cambodia and think they are doing something different from the masses, but are in fact they are the masses.
Philippines has got it all,the weather,tropical seas,rain forest,friendly locals,great food,volcano,s,mountain,s,wildlife and much more.
And although the Philippine,s is quite poor and has a history of bad government at least it,s moving in the right direction.
