I have a stamp collection that I found some years ago, It's not in much of an order. How can I find out if it's worth anything. I would be willing to sell it, I don't collect and it's just sitting here.

Be fair - I don't think that it is worth something - modern, used, from there and here, quality, - too much question that need to be know.

I think, that APS (American Philatelic Society - www.stampstore.org) can help You to find more about it.
And there You can also offer it for sale.

Here's a place to go and read up about stamp collecting and finding the value of stamps.

Scott's and Gibbon's catalogs would be a place to start. These are probably in your library.

Some charities sell stamps. It would be good to ask your favorite charity or mission group if they could use the stamps to raise funds for their work.

i collect them too and have left them in disarray for years. go to craigslist.com and put in an ad to sell them to someone who wants a collection that is already started for them or give them to a friend or relative.
