When I am out in public with my 19 year old son I don't trust anyone. Their are way too many sickos out in public places to trust my son to be out of my sight. When my son and I go shopping and he or I have to use it, I take him right into the ladies room with me. He is only 19 and now old enough to be out of my sight. Someone in the mens room may try to snatch him or molest him.
Some of the women in the ladies room seem to have a problem with me bringing my 19 year old son into the bathroom with me but I don't care. They need to get over it and get a life. Why shouldn't I take my 19 year old son into the ladies room with me?

This is a joke right? By virtue of taking your 19 year old son in the ladies room with you, someone could call him molester because of his age. Then if he gets locked up you for sure will never see him again.

Ok are you serious?? I would have a problem with it too. He's 19 which makes him legally an adult. If he can't take care of himself by now then he might never be able too. You need to get him go and grow up some or he'll be dependent on you for the rest of his life and what happens when you die, will he be able to provide for himself???

He's supposed to be an adult, and I'm sure he can take care of himself. And, do you have some seperation issues? Because you seem to worry a lot about your son. I think you should let him try to be independent. Afterall, someday, you will be gone, and what would he do by then? Follow his wife into the ladies room?

If you really worry about him being unable to fend off ill-harboring people, send him for martial arts classes. After that, you should feel better about letting him be by himself.

The women in the bathroom may feel uncomfortable because they see your son as an able male adult, and may worry for their own safety and privacy.

Lol, I would have loved to see the looks on the ladies faces. Did you mean 19 years old or 19 months old??

he has no business being in the ladies room with you. You should be able to trust at least your son enough, that you have taught him not to talk to strangers, hold hands when crossing the street. oh---wait, thats a kid. If you are nervous about leaving him alone around potential "wackos" enroll him in a self defense class so he can learn how to defend himself. And for you, I would recommend some kind of counseling to deal with your anxieties.

Why dont you go into the Mens Room with him then?

If at 19 he's not able to scream and shout "HELP" then he is dumb.

Who will mind him when you are DEAD?

He must be the laughing stock of the neighbourhood, poor mummys boy

I know u looking out for ur son but u are also violating the women in there.

u can make him stand outside the door or something like that. why u should not bring him right in is because he is a aware man he poses a "threat" to the women in there even if its only through looks. they can charge him with sexual harassment without him doing much besides looking at a women in a sexual manner did u know that??

time for u to reconsider others not just ur son

Have you been sniffing glue?? You don't take a man into a womans bathroom. He can stand by the door outside the restroom. And if he runs away, it is because you are to controling! Why embarrass him like that??? Cut those apron strings and YOUR the one who needs to get a life!!! Your crazy!!

Welll "duh" honey. He's a GROWN man, some six year old!!
You don't bring some hormonal teenage MAN into a bathroom full of women.....it's truly a no-brainer.

I quit bringing my son in the bathroom at 8. He simply stood by the front door and I would call out his name to make sure he was still cool.
