I think it would be the hen because God would have made the first hen and the first rooster and Noah would have saved them from the flood and then came the egg.

a hen would come in first than the egg..
because at the start when God made the world (or as said in the bible) there were animals (such as chickens) and not eggs..

Actually, there is an answer to this question. The chicken was derived from the red jungle fowl. Somebody, way back when, caught some red jungle fowl, raised them, bred them, and eventually they were re-named the chicken.

So, the egg came first. It wasn't till much later that the bird we eat today was named the "chicken".
