I don't think you can anymore. I mean, I met her when i was younger from winnning a competition but as far as i know that was the last thing she did like that. She doesn't want to be in the public eye as much apparently.

The website below gives J. K. Rowling's address. It says that it is believed that mail sent to Ms. Rowling is read by a third party and a sample of some letters is forwarded to her. It also states that she does not have an email address.
JK Rowling
c/o Bloomsbury Publishing Place
38 Soho Square
London W1V 5DF
England
JK Rowling
c/o Scholastic Books
555 Broadway
New York, NY 10012
USA
I hope this helps!

if you go onto her site you'll find that there is a prize draw, J.K. Rowling is doing a book signing on the release date at the natural history museum and there are 1700 tickets to win.
if you win a ticket you can ask her in person.

You can write to get care of her publishers, who are Bloomsbury Press in the UK and Scholastica in the US. Their address will be inside one of the books, or you can get it from their websites.

You could check out her website. I think right now she is too busy to answer questions.
