also how common is precognition as well?

Apparently from a test that I just took,I think that I may have this! I can tell things are going to happen in the future..I have had feelings, premonitions in dreams, and I have seen things..that I wasn't sure of..but, "knew" instinctively that they weren't all that great or wonderful! I have also seen rooms and places that I have never been to before in my life..and then years later..I am in that room, in real life!!

I can also look at a person's photo and tell a lot about them..and or being around people I can sometimes tell them what sex their baby will be! I once predicted three babies in one summer! I was correct! I have never done that before! I have also predicted other people's kids...but, I really got more into "if they would have two boys or two girls, or one boy, one girl etc...."

also, I have seen visions of people trying to get a hold of me..and I was correct!(a cameo shot of them, in my "third eye"!)
and more!

When I was seventeen years old..I went to see and go up in the World Trade Center...(when I was up there..I had this horrific feeling that made me want to get off of the building! ) I saw some men that were not from America...they had shawls in different colors...but, they were mean(now, I have to say..I actually love people from all over the world...but this was wayyyy different!)
This scared the daylights out of me! I "knew" that something was going to happen to that building that we happened to be standing on top of!
I didn't know exactly when though...I thought that it would happen in about ten years...or a little more...wasn't sure...but, it actually happened more like twenty or more years!
What a shocker! for me,anyways!
I also, thought "I don't see Americans caring all that much"(I was off on that one!) wayyy off!

But, that "vision" and those thoughts were terribly scary to me! really bad!

Precognition and e.s.p. are similar in the sense that both are purely fictional. The difference is mainly that e.s.p. encompasses all kinds of purported paranormal powers of which precognition is just one.

Regarding your experiences, recollecting that you've been in a room before is a form of deja vu, a name given to a common mental memory trick our minds play on us. Divining a person's personality traits from a photo is a subjective exercise and you've given no evidence that your divinations were specific or accurate. As far as predicting the gender of a baby, you've got a 1 in 2 chance of being right for each baby , so your track record isn't surprising at all. Three babies in a row is only a 1 in 8 chance, which are really good odds especially if you make a lot of predictions!

As far as having visions of people trying to contact you, that's not very surprising either. With a limited number of contacts, any one of whom could be wishing to talk with you about something at any given moment, randomly picking one in a "vision" is going to give you a correct selection a lot of the time.

Precognition literally means "before-knowledge," in other words, knowing about something before it happens. ESP, extrasensory perception means that the individual uses something more (extra) than the usual see, hear, touch, taste, feel to gain provably accurate and reliable knowledge.
It's a big world, strange things happen, and no one yet knows what goes on in a large part of the frontal lobe of our brains. As far as how common is it? That depends on what you mean - I can tell with what I consider amazing reliability whether anyone is at the other end to answer a telephone number I have called.

Precognition is the ability to foretell future events, or at least get a feeling for them. Extra Sensory Perception is an umbrella term for any of the abilities that don't tie into the traditional sensory organs, ie: sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. ESP includes clairvoyance (remote seeing), precognition (future viewing), aura reading, medical intuition, clairsentience/psychometry (gaining information by touching an object), telepathy, clairaudience (remote hearing), and astral projection, in addition to a few others that are considered even more rare.

As far as how common these abilities are, well that is anyone's guess. Most cases of ESP are either individual occurrences or are undocumented. As for my personal opinion, I believe that all these abilities are real and like any other sensory function, need to be exercised and used regularly to be allow to improve.

well if the things that happen after you dream it is actually things that have been on your mind and you've been contemplating then it's likely that you were simply consumed by it and your mind was finding a resolution which coincidentally turned out to be the reality. If it's completely random events that you haven't really brought into your conscious awareness then you may be on to something more.

It is great that you have precognitive abilities. Congratulations for it. Actually ESP is a term used for any kind of perception which will not be a part of the five usual senses. However precognition is term specifically used to represent the ability to have glimpse of future. ESP also include sensing ,empathy ,telepathy etc. Hope that helped.

precognition is a form of ESP, as are remote viewing, The forms of ESP that are recognized today include:
Telepathy, Clairvoyance, Precognition, Retrocognition and psychometry. There are some other psychic abilities, and each of the forms of ESP may reveal themselves differently for different people. Some may just "know:", some may see images, etc.

Precognition -- literally knowing the future -- is a type of ESP. Other types include telepathy (mind to mind communication), Clairvoyance (seeing distant events), Clairaudiance (hearing distant events), and telekinesis (moving objects with the mind). ESP is a real phenomenon, though it is very difficult to test in a lab, and therefore difficult if not impossible to prove. It is a gift, though I do believe that everyone has it to a greater or lesser extent. It is a natural human ability. It is not evil, it is not demonic in origin, and there is nothing wrong with it. It is not something to be afraid of, but rather something to be cultivated and nurtured. Best of luck to you!

Looks like the result of a *very* active imagination meeting a selective memory.

With precognition, i can tell if i'm going to get ESP. With ESP i can tell if somebody thinks i have precognition.

Knowledge of future events can come from two places. Either God reveals something to you that he wants you to see for whatever reason he has, or demonic possession. Humans do not have the ability to see the future on thier own.

If you seriously feel you have been revealed future events, then you should ask yourself where they come from. Read a Bible. In Acts there is a story about a fortune teller who loses her powers when Paul casts the demon out of her. Also, there are countless passages about God revealing the future to people.
