I think the way my great grandmother met her husband is SO cute.
she was sitting at a cafe and he asked the waitor to pass her a little message written on a little piece of paper ripped out of his book.
Then she passed another message from her napkin to him which was passed on by the waitor.
He only saw her from the distance and fell in love.
Then the war came up, he passed away. but its a cute story..
My mom met my dad at a party. All he did was go up to her and say 'you interest me' ..---italian charms what can i say LOL!!
haha-- and my grandma on my moms side stalked her one night stand .. followed him all the way down to GREECE lol.
He didn't want anything from her LOL, but as dominant and possesive as she was she got him under her thumb. I feel sorry for my grandpa.(can't believe they're still married)

Well my nan met my grandad when they both started working for a cleaning company back in the 60's. My nan was in an abusive marriage and 6 months pregnant, my grandad rescued her and her 3 boys from the previous relationship and when my aunty was born he took her as his own and I didn't know this til about a year ago and I'd have never guessed, I was so shocked. My nan and grandad went on to get married and have 3 more children (my mum, uncle and a baby girl that was still born). They are still together nearly 40 years later and they are the best grandparents in the world (more like my 2nd parents).
My mum and dad met when my grandads worked together as milk men and my mum and dad would go out on the vans with them and they all went on holidays and stuff so they have known eachother since they were about 11. They got married when mum was 18 and dad was 21 and are still together 21 years later.
And finally, I met my boyfriend through some friends. The first time we actually met (my friend set us up by swapping eachothers numbers) was at a supermarket (Tesco lol). We been a couple ever since. We have been...

My husband and I met in a chat room. He's from Scotland and was in an Ohio chat room (he has family that emigrated to Cincy) that I logged into. We started chatting/e-mailing and met up 5 months later when he came over for a visit to see his family. We've been together ever since and that was 8 years ago. We're married, living in the UK and have a beautiful 20 month old daughter.

nothing really cute or anything- we met at the bar in town that we had been frequenting for a while and my best friend asked me to go with her to meet her new guy. my hubby was this guys best friend and we have been together ever since. That was over 10 years ago

i met him at a concert
all summer i kept seeing this real hot looking guy
i saw him at a few field days and at a country fair
we both like this local band that was playing all summer all around
so in aug. after seeing him since may i walked up to him and said ummm excuse me have you been following me all summer lolol
we started talking and lol and i found out he had noticed me too but he was very shy and did not say anything earlier

We met at my parent's house. It was a "visit" arranged by a person we both knew (his friend, a distant relative of mine). Though it was arranged, the fireworks came later and now that we are married, I can't imagine life without him.

We were deployed to Iraq back on 2003 and we were standing ouside our AO when we started to recieve in-coming fire... A mortar round was flying over head and landed a few meters away from where we were standing. He grabed the back of my body armor and pulled me back into the building, before a piece of the roof fell on me...

After I got my significant others ph.no.from my girlfriend I called him. The next night,sight unseen he came into where I worked. From that night on we were inseparable for 7 yrs.until he died unexpectedly.
