i thought it was pretty good. i liked the fact that they mention people who died or are no longer on the show(duncan, lily, beaver). The ending was pretty good, but it could have been better. But after Logan did that, Veronica's dad got arrested, and veronica & piz just got together, they could do so much with another season. why would the CW cancel it after a finale like THAT?

I thought the finale was excellent. A great return to all the elements that made the show so successful: Veronica as an outsider, a mystery that she has a personal stake in, class issues in Neptune, and scenes with people who love her and will do anything to help her. Frankly, this has been the best season finale episode so far this year. I love "Heroes" but the writing for that finale wasn't as good as on "Veronica Mars." (Maybe "Lost" will do better--we'll have to wait and see!)
If you want to participate in a grand gesture on behalf of the show, people are sending Mars bars wrappers to the CW network.

It was great just as is all the other episodes Veronica Mars has had!!! I was reading yesterday quotes from all the seasons- that stuff was so good- Nobody writes like that on any of these other shows. Veronica Mars was original & classic. I keep hoping someone else will pick it up. The CW makes me sick!!!

Dreadful.
The plot was ridiculous and the way it played out was even worse. Keith is only interesting as an underdog, so the entire time he was sheriff was dreadful. There's no reason for Vinny Van Lowe to want to be sheriff in the first place, so the special election plotline was an irritating distraction. I could go on and on, but it'd be pointless. All told, I can't come up with a thing I liked about it, except for Dick. It was nice to see Dick getting some emotional depth.

Apparently the head of the CW has until June 15th (officially) to make his decision, but just about everyone involved including rob thomas has reportedly moved onto other projects. Rob thomas has even been quoted as saying there is no hope of the show continuing.
