Should I buy it? Mechanically is great, but some cosmetic issues

That's exactly how I bought my M3, with some cosmetic issues but mechanically excellent, I'd recommend anybody do the same to save some cash and do your own bodywork. Sounds like a good price, for a coupe, but an average price for the sedan.

Just make sure the VIN starts with WBS and not WBA. WBS is for BMW Motorsport and all M3s, M5s, etc., have these first three letters on the VIN. If the VIN starts with WBA then the car is actually a regular 3-Series with M3 badges glued on.

I would say it is a good price if it is a genuine M3 Where I live a lot of 325s are converted to look like they are M3s
BMW also tell us the biggest selling accessory's they have is the M3 badges

Sounds like a pretty good deal, almost too good. Spend the 30 bucks on a carfax report. It's well worth it to avoid a lemon.

Depends on what you are looking for. It sounds like a good deal if you want a fun fast car. Just know it isn't a "show car" with out spending some serious cash.

Also you want the service history and records. Good Bimmers have extensive maintainces done the good ones you cannot close the glove box for all the receipts.
