My birthday is January 24th, 1987, which lies close to the Chinese New Year. Whenever I do research on the Chinese zodiac, half of the books say I'm a tiger, half of them say I'm a rabbit. It really depends on if I go by the standard year or the Chinese year... but I'm confused, which do I go with? I can relate to both signs.
People who really know astrology need only answer, I've done all the googling possible. Thanks :)

The Year of the Fire Tiger is between:

9 February 1986 - 28 January 1987

That makes you a Tiger.

Remember that the Chinese zodiac is not determined by your birth year, it depends on in which zodiac year (period) your birth date falls.

For example,
1. If someone was born on February 8, 1986: s/he would be born in the Year of the Wood Ox.
2. If s/he was born on January 29, 1987: s/he would be born in the Year of the Fire Rabbit/Hare.
