Can anyone tell me what kind of clothing I should wear to play paintball in (layer a bunch of crap on or what)? And, is this gonna hurt?

they dont hurt. It may sting for a bit but not bad. alot of field have chest protrctor for rent, wear a tshirt, and camo jacket. If you have slide short from softball or anything like that where them and a pair of jeans. if you have cleats or pair of hiking boots.
Remember to keep your mask down in shoot area.
