Try looking for HP or Toshiba. They're selling them for a reasonable price. Try the HPdv9000 series which is a 17 inch baby, or Toshiba Satellite series. Only those that have a 7600 nvidia card and upwards are a little better for games. But remember, laptops are not good for games because the demands from running games increases thermal heat which destroys pc innards and also LCD screens are too delicate for extended usage, plus the batteries don't last more than 2 hours without another charge. Running a laptop with the battery charging for extended hours while playing games, shortens the battery's life. If you want to play games, get a desktop pc. I know Dell sells pc with the 7900GS video card which is better than other manufacturer's offering 7600 or x1600 video cards. Alienware sell high performance pcs but are too expensive. Seriously, I would recommend you buy a pc with core2 Duo 2 Ghz chip with 2 gb ram, 7600 video card. Then spend the balance of your money on an Xbox 360 or PS3. Don't waste your money on a laptop to play games. I did, and I know the limitations of my laptop when it comes to play the games I thought it could, but couldn't.

Why on earth would you want to buy a computer from a company where you cannot walk into the shop if you get a problem? There are so many good shops where you can buy similar spec products at the same or less money. Don't be taken in by Dell's low headline prices, you cannot buy one at that price there are always extras.

Depends on size. The 3 basic sizes are 14.1,15.4, and 17 inch. The three basic models good for your use are the inspiron 1405, 1505, 1705 respectively. Check out my source link.

Dell does not make any high quality computers. Toshiba does. I would highly recommend a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092. I have that notebook, and I really like it.
