I have been taking my current type of pill for the last couple of years and in my last few breaks from it I have been feelng really unwell. I get a constant migraine type headache, terrible nausea and just genrally feeling poop! I changed onto this pill from my last one because I developed withdrawel symptoms during my 7 day break and i am wondering if this is whats happening again on this pill. Anyone else experiance this? And do you do anything which helps you to get through it?

I think you just need to keep trying different ones until you find one that suits you. Maybe try the mini-pill as you don't actually have a 7 day break, you keep taking pills every day.

I came off the pill due to this problem apart from the fact it wasnt just on my 7 day break but all the time , if you go to your clinic they can talk about different types of contraception which only contains one hormone such as the implant (ive recently changed to this and have had no symptoms and contains only one hormone plus it can help prevent women from developing cervical & womb cancer ) or there are many more with one hormone and will stop such bad symptoms and rember no contraception protects you from Std's :0) xx

The only thing I can recommend is to get in touch with your OB/GYN to see what they suggest for this as far as what to do in the long run. In the mean time you can try upping the intake of iron if you are having problems with breakthrough bleeding by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course).

talk to your doctor & try another birth control pill. it might be a little uncomfortable getting used to different pill's hormones but try a different kind for a few months and see how that works for your body. dont expect instant results though.
good luck!

Skip the break, I have done this for several years due to similar problems.
Check out this website, it explains it more fully...please take the time to read it, it is well worth it.
