However which city's time zone are you looking at.... US has many time zones like EST, CST, PST etc.

That would be:

14:45 (2:45 PM) (GMT-0500) -in the East - Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, Atlanta, etc.

13:45 (1:45 PM) (GMT-0600) - in the "Central" time zone - St.Louis, Chicago, Dallas, etc.

12:45 (GMT-0700) - in the "Mountain" timezone (=Rocky Mountains) -Denver

11:45 (GMT-0800) - in the West - Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc

10:45 (GMT-0900) - Alaska time - Anchorage..

9:45 (GMT-1000) -Hawaii-Aleutian time

8:45 (GMT-1100) - Hawaii time - Honolulu..

That doesn't include U.S. TERRITORIES:

Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands - in the "Atlantic" time zone (This is an hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time, BUT since they do not observe Daylight Savings Time, it ends up the same time as Eastern from mid March through October

Pacific territories - which are spread across FOUR time zones, three of which are a day AHEAD of the rest of the country (because they are across the International Date Line)

For all zones, and esp. the territories, see this map, and click on an area for the current time:
