I am going to San Francisco in late June for the weekend for my 21st bday. I want to know what I should do there. I want to go to both tourist places and hole in the wall cool places. I'm not a huge partier and I don't drink. What should I do?!!!! Some good and reasonably priced restaurants would be good. Oh and I need something to do on the actual day which is Sat. June 23rd.

YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO DO EVERYTHING.
YOU CAN WALK MOST PLACES.

GO SHOPPING ON HAIGHT STREET, VALENCIA ST., MARKET ST.
GIANTS GAME. BONDS MIGHT BE BREAKING THE RECORD THAT DAY AND THE HOME RUN BALL WILL BE A COOL PRESENT.

GO TO GOLDEN GATE PARK, THE DE YOUNG MUSEUM, THE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART, THE ASIAN ART MUSEUM OR THE EXPLORATORIUM.

FIND OUT WHAT BANDS ARE PLAYING THAT NIGHT AND ASK GRANDMA FOR TIX. CHECK SFGATE.COM OR SFGUARDIAN OR SFWEEKLY.

GO DANCE AT RUBY SKYE OR THE DNA LOUNGE OR SEE LOCAL BANDS IN THE AREA OF 11TH AND FOLSOM.

PARTY IN NORTH BEACH, SOMA, CASTRO, THE MISSION AND DOWNTOWN

THERE'S COIT TOWER, EMBARCADERO, TWIN PEAKS, THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE AND ALCATRAZ FOR SOME COOL SIGHT-SEEING.

RENT A CAR OR BIKE, WALK, CATCH CABS AND TAKE PUBLIC TRANSIT. IF YOU NEED TO FIND AN ADDRESS, ASK A BIKE MESSENGER.

RESTAURANTS ARE IN NORTH BEACH FOR ITALIAN AND GUESS WHAT KIND OF FOOD THEY HAVE IN CHINATOWN. (HOUSE OF NAN KING*****) BURRITOS FROM THE MISSION (EL FAROLITO OR LA CORNETA)

DON'T BE SHY AND DON'T DRIVE!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

you have already pronounced the subject. The San Francisco eating scene should not be a place for toddlers. Locals with young toddlers pass to the burbs, so the only places on the city that cater to toddlers are the tourist traps. everywhere else you will discover waitstaff that's no longer familiar with coping with toddlers, and persons at neighboring tables providing you with adversarial looks for nerve-racking the serenity of their meal. many of the fewer objectionable touristy places that can accomodate super communities and young toddlers are Bucca di Beppo, The Stinking Rose, Momo's through the ballpark, or places in Chinatown like the some distance East Cafe or Empress of China. Giorgio's in the Richmond is super for an casual kinfolk-type pizza evening. stable success!
