Was more when I was younger but not so much anymore. Plus I have a big flash light to blind anyone with if they try anything lol. But I rarely go out in the darkness, there's really no reason to. I hate when there's a blackout, but I have many nice smelling candles to light the place and that makes it better.

I'm afraid of many more things when it's dark, I always make my husband check every room and cupboard if I get spooked at night.

The dark removes any "frame of reference" that one has with the physical world. Deaf people feel this too, more than "hearing" people. It is as if you are "drowning" sometimes.......not knowing what is "down or up". You lose touch with the world, sort of.

no you can't see anything in the dark, its the lite you need to be afraid of cuz then you see all thats wrong with the world.

I'm not exactly scared of the dark.. but I don't like going outside when it's night, we have raccoons in our back yard.
