They do pay well and there is overtime

go to the clark county. org page and check for jobs in corrections.

also go to the state of nevada. org web page to get more specifics on your jobs and pay scales.

around the 40+k a year, you need to go through the police academy for "probation" first though. If you fail the academy you don't get the position you requested. But you still get paid while in the academy, when and if you pass the academy you get a raise also.
