No I don't feel we are over regulated.

Fact is any market that is involved in finance/money transactions should be regulated so they remove the utter cowboys that have all jumped into estate agencies now they can't scam a job in the City. Its time to protect the public from these people

If you want the government to control / to regulate private businesses more. Move to Cuba or China or Venezuela or Vietnam, you will like it there.

Because they work on commision, they will do what they can to sell.

The simple fact is that even if they are complete twats, finding the right place is hard. So if they are good or bad, it makes no difference to the sale.

Real estate is always tricky because the value is dependent on the market, and the only way to make more money is for the perceived value of something to increase.

Regulation is important in an industry like this, especially for areas such as Auctions. But regulation is unlikely to deal with the main cause of the problem.

Government shouldn't be meddling into other people's business. Things should be DEREGULATED, not regulated even more.

Don't you feel a bit restricted from all the regulations?
