i have taken pcmb(physics,chemistry ,bio &maths) but i also have one option in place of bio i.e eco .so please tell me which subject should i take.(but after 12th i'll do engineering).

Hmm.. we're a bit alike. In high school, one of my favorite subjects was biology. But, now i'm about to graduate from a business school. I chose economics (accounting) because there are more job opportunities for me in my country for economic graduates and i'm good at it actually... Choose the one you like best and where you're good at. But even if you don't take economics, buy a few books on the subject and read them. It's very useful...

If you plan to do Engineering and not Medicine then I think you should opt out of Biology. (Saves you unneccessary Lab / Practical Works). Economics is an excellent subject - and Elementary Eco will give you a better understanding of Open Markets etc etc (Exactly what India is going through).

Hey Robbie, to be very frank,since you have asked us to decide between biology or economics, obviously you are not interested in medicine, therefore opt for economics.But remember opting out of Biology may also affect your future choice of streams as Biotechnology,Biophysics,Biochemistry,Bioinformatics etc. may become quite far from you.So consider all pros and cons before opting out of Biology.Hope this helps you..

It seems that it's boring because people get turned off the the mathematics and apparent lack of real-life situations in Macro and Micro 101.

BIOLOGY.i really love it and its much more interesting,besides u have much more chances with it.u can study bio-tech or bio-chem,do bioscience,etc.or just do engineering.in eco its just like maths,u have to go on and on.
so i think bio is best.....good luck.
