We had the same problem. Try this: Get spider bombs, you can find them at Lowes or Home depot.....bomb your attic/crawlspace and bomb the basement/crawlspace. As soon as that clears out (takes a couple hours) go through the house and vacuum the edges of everything, carpet, curtains, under sinks, window edges etc. It worked great for us. The Terminex guy suggested it since the spray won't get everything as thuroughly. If you ever see a web or spiders after that, hit them with the vacuum....we have only seen a couple spiders since we did this and it has been about two years now. Good luck.

Follow the advice of Escrow, most spiders will jump, it's an escape defense move. These Little buggers will sometimes bite during the night. Although most don't have the ability to be able to get their teeth through the upper layers of your skin, some do and will make welts, not unlike mosquito bites that itch.
Better to smell the stink of a bug bomb for a day then to have these little pests biting you all the time.
