We dated 11 mths before we got married and so far we have been married 26 months. It does depend on the couple though.

In my own opinion Dating is a part of knowing to each other... the strenght and weaknesses of both of you...If both of you is compatible, same like and dislike i think thier is no average year , month and day to getting married you will become more happily ever after....

All the experts say at least two years or was it two years of knowing them i can't remember but my boyfriend and i are getting married soon and we have known each other for a little over three years.

I dated my husband 3 years before marrying him. It is really nice that I know my husband so well, and we are like best friends. I definitely feel that you should give yourself plenty of time to get to know him and his ways. I am a big advocate of living together prenuptial. You NEVER know a person until you live with them day in and day out.

The decent time is when you get the decent person, there is no rule there is no time, you will know the 2 of you when is the correct time.

You can't really place a time frame on relationships. Some materialize faster than others. Make sure you and your partner know each other and feel comfortable. Once youve established something let your heart and mind do the rest.

Well, give us more specifics? Are You wanting to get married? Are you dating someone already? Or just curious. I think most couples are 6months to a year. But then again, divorce is pretty common still.
