It is the same old story with India allowing the opponents off the hook after some initial spark. They have failed to finish the game notwithstanding the rain.Dravid did something his predecessors would not have done with a sportive declaration and give the audience some cheer.
Bangladesh did well to capitalise on the Indians weaknesses. With more experience they are bound to improve and close the gap.
But I won't agree that they had the upperhand. In fact the declaration revealed India's confidence. With Kumble unable to take the field India could not force a win.

Not upto the mark....certainly not.
They have the potential to play MUCH better cricket than what was on display. But the worrying factor right now is the attitude of Sachin and Sourav.......even though they scored 100s, the way they got there and their dismissals right after their 100 was distressing.......such players should take the bowling by the scruff of their necks and seize control...instead they allowed the Banglas to take advantage and manipulate their batting styles.
However, the brave declaration was commendable...this shows that we are not playing for a draw, and are ready to throw he challenge at the opposition and try and win......that was one of the few bright spots on the horizon during the course of the test match....
The end could have been interesting if it were not for the rain.....:(

While India's batting in the 2nd innings was very poor, it cannot be said that Bangladesh had upper hand in the test match. If play was possible for all the 5 days, the end result would have been India winning as they would have have thrown away their wickets in order to score some quick runs.

Bangladesh team is improving day by day, every player giving 100% to the team.
India should go with game plan in 2nd Inngs,, make quick runs,, take good lead,,, and declare the innings.
When Bang come to bat,, go for the kill.

The wasted opportunity by not chasing the target Bengali's proved that they have a long way to go to become a force in test circket.
India has dominated the test write from the word go.

no,they tried to score quick runs and the out field is wet so the ball did not travel along the gronud so they have to in the air and over the infield and in the process they lost wickets.
