dager35, the series isnt boring because spurs win it has nothing to do with that. They play with no flare. Tim Duncan is a hall of fame player no doubt and sure his hellas classy but it wouldnt kil him to throw down a massive dunk every now n then or even a decent dunk. However his not the only one, its the same with the entire team mins Manu

I agree that maybe a couple of the Cavs/Pistonsgames should be shown, but that doesn't figure to be a competitive series, whereas Utah/San Antonio might go six games.
The Cavs are just Lebron and his rag-tag fugitive fleet, and Detroit can shut down any team that only has one real option.
The Spurs are only boring compared to glitzy show teams of the league (i.e. Suns, Mavs) and the one-man shows (Cavs, Lakers, Heat) They don't have Kobe or Nash or LeBron or D-Wade, but they've got two exciting all-stars in Parker and Ginobli, and the league's most fundamentally sound, dominant, bank-shooting big man in Duncan.
Now does Detroit have ANYONE you'd pay to see play? I mean, Rip, Sheed and Chauncey are excellent players, but not exactly exciting to watch. Prince? Ocassionally. Chris Webber? McDyess? Lindsey Hunter?? Hell. I'd rather watch a .500 Laker team or Stephon Marbury's Knicks :)
Houston has McGrady but news flash- their style of play is BORING. Same with New Jersey. And Miami unless D-Wade is healthy.
I think the finals will be better than this round, because Utah and Cleveland just appear overmatched.

I don't see why everyone is calling the spurs/jazz series boring. The crowd at home was pumped up and there's a lot of action. Not to mention when I turned on game one at detroit the other day, it was terrible. The crowd sounded dull and there was barely any background sound to the game. Now if thats what people thing is exciting; that's insane.

TNT have the rights, and ESPN buy the rights to Australia I think, and they probably buy the games they think are the "big" games so that people watch.
You will sometimes notice the TNT music when they cut to the ads, but mostly they get it right and have ESPN music, which is different.
Im in Australia as well. I wish they were all on there. If you have a good internet connection you can stream channels with myp2p, its pretty easy, and they have a schedule. You just click it and start streaming, sort of like a torrent

Well I don't know why they aren't showing the Pistons but the Spurs and Jazz isn't boring. Im not sure what your looking for in a game but the Pistons Cavs game isn't going to be real high scoring either. I don't understand what the Spurs do thats so boring. When is winning such a bore?

But Carlos Boozer is an ALASKAN! He was raised by eskimos and polar bears. That should make the game more exciting, all those moves he learned from mammals with NO future, because of global warming.
Also, to make the game more exciting, just place 2,000 Australian Dollars on the Jazz with your local bookie, and that will make the game a bit less boring to watch!

The Spurs aren't show offs. They are there to play basketball cause they love the game. They aren't all about the money and bling. It's basketball. That is why they are boring to alot of people. And we don't have celebrities at our games . Well besides Eva L.

Duncan doesn't showboat. He just plays good, sound basketball. That is just the type of player he is. There is modesty in Duncan that alot of the NBA players doesn't possess.

They are the darlings of the NBA. They just love them. That's why the NBA has had depressing ratings. They just don't get it.
