One way would be to print a pattern onto a transparent sheet and then shine it on the wall with an overhead projector, trace it onto the wall with a pencil, and then paint.

You could also scan a shirt, draw a grid over the picture you get, and then also a grid on the wall. Then look at each square of your shirt grid and pencil it onto the wall grid, square by square.

I was a teen in the seventies. What we would have done is paint the walls purple and then have tie dye curtains and a zebra print waterbed. Cool, man, cool!

you really cant make a wall tie dye, you could however do it on sheets and then hang them on the walls. you would need to get the big plastic tubs they use for storage to do each color of fabric, it wouldnt be cheap but it would be cool and you could do a pair of sheets for the bed and your curtians at the same time. or you could do the walls by splattering paint on with an overloaded brush, but you have to really cover anything you dont want paint on, or use spray bottles with watered down paint, or paint the walls black or dark purple and then do posters in the glow in the black light paints, and get some black lights, and you are on an automatic shroom trip, play innagoddadavida, so loud the walls shake. well kacky i guess we are getting old, lol
