We have only been dating for a few weeks and her ex boyfriend of about 1 year just moved back into town and she likes to hang with him but says they are just friends and she says she would never date him again... but im still not sure... should i be worried or is this normal?

Quit worrying. You will know if she ever decides to go back. You can do one of two things--You can sit there and worry about it, or you can spend that time making sure that she thinks you are the best man in the world.

You should be worried
Seing an ex -boyfriend one time is not the same as hanging out with him
Is her ex in a relationship?
Does he still have feelings for her?
Does she still have feelings for him?
If you tell her that you are not at ease with the situation, is she listening to you?

Do you trust her? that is most important. I would just watch her mood and actions see if she pushs u away or change but ofr the most part i would belive ur should just not worry and let her do her thing even if that means hangin out with her ex!

You should not have too much to worry about. He just moved back so she wanted to hang out a little. And because your relationship is new you proly don't want to seem jealous by saying it bothers you. You should just wait and as time goes by she should want to be spending more time with you and not seeing him much.

Every situation that I encountered of this ended differently. What this really boils down to is your trust in her. Do you trust her?
Before you answer this question, think about the question first. Imagine if she seems to be doing something she isn't, but she said she's not doing it, would you believe her?
If not, then you don't trust her. If you don't trust her then be worried.

allow her to hang wth her ex...
but make sure that the things that she said were true....
just trust her....
dont be paranoid....
but also dont be stupid.....
