I'm 16 and I'm shorter than most guys at my school and I have been hoping that I will get taller (my brothers are taller than me, so I figured I would probably get to at least their height), but the other day my science teacher was saying that caffeine stunts growth.

I drink so many of those iced cappucinos from Starbucks and Tim Hortons and they are loaded with caffeine. I have 1 every day, sometimes 2 or more. Now I'm worried that I have ruined my chances at getting taller. If I stop now, will there be any hope left?

No, for boys, we only stop growing on our body height until we reach the age of 18 or 19, and for some boys they may stop later at 20 or 21 and so, and some they might stop even earlier at 17 or so. The same applies to the penis size as well I think. (Something that most boys may concern.) It all depends on how well you take care of your daily diet. Best that I can suggest for you is that, intake more protein and calcium to fully boost the growth of your bones, playing basketball and swimming may help a lot on this as well, sleep early at night, waking up early, make up a habit of doing body strecthings in the morning, especially your shoulders (men's chest and shoulder should be broad), drink more milk, if you are allergic to lactose, go for colostrum then, it will be even much better. Other sources for protein are, meat, fish, peanuts, beans, potato, milk, egg white, and etc..

You're only 16, so yes..you have quite a few years left to possibly grow more. Most males stop growing at about 20-21 or so.

I drank quite a bit of coffee myself, and still do. I probably started drinking it at age 11, lol. I've always liked the taste of coffee. Anyhow..I've drank it for years, even before I hit the growing years. I'm 5'10, quite tall for a woman. So I really doubt coffee will have stunted your growth. I don't think it trully can stunt your growth anyhow, but I could be wrong.

He's not perfect for you if he thinks you're a stalker and you don't really know him that well anyways. I think there wasn't a chance to begin with in the first place, just find a different guy when you turn 16.

I wouldn't worry. I'm not an extremely healthy eater and here I am at mid-teens and 5'8" tall. Most guys finish growing at very late teens years. So likely you'll sprout at least another half-foot.

I wouldn't worry too much about it,
Males tend to keep growing up til 20 in most cases.

You'll be fine, just don't start smoking ;)
