A lot of people would probably go with names that start with the same letter for twins, but I think that's a little cliche. I'd choose two names that are very different from each other, because even though they are twins, they are still two different people. Similar names might also cause them to be compared to each other as they get older, and I'm sure no twin wants to be compared to the other.

The only twins I know are (2 girls - 24 years old) Amanda & Lauren (1 boy & 1 girl - still babies) Amber & Caiden.
I go with what most people said. Anything that rhymes or start with the same letter is a little old fashioned. And Amanda & Lauren said that if they had that they would have changed their names because of embarassment lol.

Here are some names which I like:
- Mattea
- Zara
- Zali
- Rani
- Ella
- Eden
- Neve
- Layla/Laila/Leila/Leyla
- Lila
- Mya/Maya
I agree with the other posts - stay away from names that rhyme. Names that start with the same letter are fine, just as long as the names are different.
Congratulations and good luck

As a mother of twin girls I recommend staying away from cutsie rhyming names. Just instill individualism and treat them as two separate people not a pair.
My girls have similar initial N.R.T and R.N.T which actually was not planned. My husband and I agreed that we would each pick the first name of one, and the middle name of the other.
the recommendations people gave me: Bert & Ernie, Tom & Jerry, Linus & Lucy, they thought it was so much fun to suggest them.

well i think that twin with names like Kerry and Terry and definatly corny. being twins they are already going to be thought of as one person give them their own identities, names will definatly help in that.. something like Nicole and Natalie is right there on the line they dont sound too similar, but they share a common first letter. i personally would give my twins names like Lillian (Lilli for short) and Violet (Vi for short) different and yet still somewhere it seems to be similar.
