jandrkeller's probably in the ballpark for the price; or maybe even a little low for some dealers.

But here's a reality check.

Your 4 rotors cost: $64.95 (front each), $59.95 (rear each)
Your 2 pairs of pads cost: $44.95 (front pair), $49.95 (rear pair)
Your 2 pad sensors cost: $9.95 (each)
add some brake grease and anti-squeal compound from your local parts store (<$10)

So your parts add up to about $375 max. These are factory, equal or better than OEM specs parts. BTW, BMW does not make their own brake parts. Brembo makes their rotors, and the prices above are for Brembo rotors. And using "non-BMW" parts does not mean you will get brake squeal; and vice-versa.

The rest is simply BMW dealer profit! That's the reason why I do my own brakes, oil change and most other maintenance.

If you are not the hands-on type, a trusted mechanic can definitely handle the job and would be really happy if you paid him $200 labor for it!

You'd also be happy you saved enough money to buy enough synthetic oil and Bosch filters for the next 5-6 oil changes too!

around $400 each end. just call and ask service. i suggest using only bmw brake parts unless you enjoy squeaks and vibrations.
