Sperm can live up to five days in CERVICAL fluid(slippery, wet, stretchy and so on...)when you notice that you don't have any cervical fluid it may survive for up to 2 hours.
And I've heard that the "girl sperm"xx can withstand more and might survive longer, while the "the boy sperm"xy don't live as long but are faster swimmers. Some say that if you want to conceive a boy have sex as close to ovulation as possible, and for conceiving a girl try to have sex a few days before you think that you are going to ovulate.
valley girl that was such a great answer, thanxs for the thumbs down!!!!!

there is actuality in it, however the norm is around 3 days. For sperm to stay to tell the story 5 days, they could could be in particularly fertile cervical mucus. Sperm desire that to stay that long. Even 3 days is extremely long. So theoretically, you're able to be able to desire to get pregnant from intercourse 3 days in the past you ovulated.

it takes a couple of days. maybe like 3 or 4 days. it depends. if the guy cums in you and u start ur period tomorrow of course it won't stay in ur uterus. but if he does and it reaches ur egg it will be about 3 or 4 days.
