8 years is not a big difference although the younger you are the bigger the difference feels.

Hey it's legal I say have fun, but they'll most likely that the two will wind up breaking up eventually.

The maturity gap between 18 and 26 is a pretty hefty one. Personally I can't see myself having anything in common with an 18 yr old girl when i'm 26.

now if he started dating her before she turned 18 when he was 25, than he's a douche :D

I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 27 and we have been dating for almost 2 years. I've never been happier. Maturity plays a big factor too. When I was younger, I saw a guy who was 9 years older than me. I think that since she is 18, an adult, she can date whomever she wants.

a million) relies upon on the age of the guy. human beings under 20, 2-3 years. human beings over 20 i think of as much as ten years. 2) a protracted time would not count number to me. there must be no age decrease to love. 3) the two. character is the main considerable undertaking, yet i'm no longer initially involved in a guy or woman if i do no longer only like the way they seem the two... 4) i might like somebody older than me. 5) i'm a woman, yet maximum adult adult males i understand like ladies shorter than them 6) nope :)

If you are meant to be together then your meant to be together. I don't think it's right for some young girl to be dating an old man for his money, but if they are TRULY in love and meant to be then age really doesn't matter. I know 2 people who are 13 years apart. She was ridding her tricycle while he was driving a Dodge. sure then it was disgusting but now they are both adults and they are just meant to be together. Look at it this way, after you turn 20 you are an adult for the rest of your life. If this is the person you are meant to be with then go for it. ( i realize that 18 is not 20 but you get my point.....i hope)

My mom was 19 and my dad was 25 when they were married. They're about 7 years apart and they've been married for 20...something years. It depends on the couple, and the maturity of both people.

Since she's a legal adult, I don't see why not (however, when I was 18, I felt I was too immature for someone over 25).

She is young. Once you reach a certain age it does not matter that much. But she is just becoming an adult. I think it is not fare for her to limit herself to someone whos already been around the block.

seems alright to me. as long as they both have the same mind-frame and can accept each other's behaviours (afterall, being 26 and 18 lifestyle can be alot different)
