Crying is a release of sorts. Tears remove toxins from your body and thus you usually feel better after you do. I know that after I have a good cry, I'm more relaxed.

i dont cry and i dont feel good if i do (rarely)
i have been experiencing a lot of physical pain in the last 6months (8fractures in leg and still have a cast on) and when i walk and my leg hurts like hell i get teary eyes i think to myself - you dont cry from pain, you cry from emotions - specifically - self pity. so I'm not going there.
